Kenyan FIA rising stars to miss Pearl of Africa Uganda rally 2023.
As the 3rd edition of the 2023 African Rally championship gears up, the anticipated three Kenyan crews under the FIA rising stars, sponsored by Safaricom, Kenya airways and the government are likely to miss out.
McRae Kimathi, Jeremiah Wahome and Hamza Anwar made up the team in Equator Rally Kenya without Maxine Wahome and were expected to take on the ARC calendar for 2023 as it was in 2022.
Unfortunately news reached on RallyGanda desk indicates that the team may miss the pearl of Africa Uganda rally due to lack of sponsorship funds to run through this event.
It’s not known if this could hinder the whole season campaign or the crews will feature in other upcoming ARCs.
The 3rd edition of the 2023 African Rally championship is set for 5-7th May in Jinja city of Uganda.
